In partnership with Care Match UK, C-CAF was set up to fill this gap, making it easier for care providers to find qualified, reliable consultants with proper insurance and checks.
Why do we do it?
With the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under ever-growing scrutiny, care providers are increasingly commissioning the services of care consultants to support them. The outcomes of these services are extremely variable due to the lack of regulation around consultants.
There are an estimated 150,000 care consultants in the UK, but the actual number could be higher, and unlike the NHS, there’s no regulated framework for these consultants.
C-CAF helps ensure that care providers can confidently hire consultants who meet all the right criteria.
