These terms and conditions govern the process and eligibility for refunds related to the C-CAF Care Consultant Accreditation Framework ("C-CAF"). By engaging with the C-CAF services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions regarding refunds:
Refunds may be requested in the following circumstances:
Withdrawal Prior to Accreditation Start Date: If you choose to withdraw from the C-CAF Care Consultant Accreditation Framework before the official start date of your accreditation period, you may be eligible for a refund. However, if a C-CAF administrator has already begun processing your application or working on your consultant file, an administrative charge may apply. This amount will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellation by C-CAF: If C-CAF cancels or cannot provide the agreed-upon services, a full refund will be issued.
Extenuating Circumstances: In cases of documented extenuating circumstances (such as serious illness, bereavement, or other significant life events), a partial refund may be considered. Supporting documentation may be required, and any work already undertaken on your file may be subject to non-refundable charges.
Please note: If a consultant fails admittance to the C-CAF directory following review (e.g., does not meet eligibility criteria or quality standards), they will not be entitled to a refund. It is the consultant's responsibility to ensure they meet the required standards prior to applying.
To request a refund, you must submit the request in writing to the C-CAF support team via email or the official contact form. The request must include:
Your full name and contact information
A detailed explanation for the refund request
Supporting documentation (if applicable)
Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy. Upon approval, refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
Full Refunds (when eligible): Processed within 14 business days of approval.
Partial Refunds (e.g., extenuating circumstances, administrative work already undertaken): Depending on the complexity of the case, this may take up to 30 business days.
The following fees are non-refundable:
Administrative Work Already Undertaken: Any portion of work completed by C-CAF administrators prior to your withdrawal (e.g., document checks, file reviews) may be charged and deducted from your refund.
Training or Course Materials: Any costs related to course materials, resources, or external tools provided during the accreditation process are non-refundable once accessed or delivered.
Certification Fees: Fees paid for registration, certification, or issuing official documentation are non-refundable after processing.
Refund requests will be denied in the following scenarios:
Consultant Fails Admittance to Directory: If a consultant is not admitted to the C-CAF directory due to not meeting the required standards or failing the review process, no refund will be given.
Non-Compliance with Terms: If you breach C-CAF policies, procedures, or requirements, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Late Requests: Refunds requested after the accreditation process has significantly progressed, or without valid justification, may not be granted.
C-CAF reserves the right to amend these refund terms at any time. Any updates will be communicated via official channels.
