About the consultant

I started my career as a Registered Nurse, but then completed a BSc in Management Studies that allowed me to balance care with commerciality.

Having qualified, I firstly worked in acute psychiatric environments, before venturing into the commissioning and managing of new build nursing homes.

I then managed a cluster / area of nursing homes to later becoming a regional manager with BUPA Care Services.

Following this, i went off to work with a private equity business involved in a learning disability business before the working as an Operations Director in sixty-million turn over learning disability business.

Following a very successful period i then founded my own business that supports local authority transformation and modernisation projects, including the establishment of a local authority trading company in Buckinghamshire.

I then kept the business running, simultaneously becoming MD for a major domiciliary organisation for three years.

I returned to my business to support London Borough of Tower Hamlets as a Senior Commissioner focused on digital management of homecare delivery.

Most recently I was Director of Operations for Southend City Council's Trading Company that delivered regulated services as well as offering provider of last resort services to other external providers.

I am extremely well referenced with a vast number of network connections in the industry.
