About the consultant

I am an experienced healthcare professional with a career that began in 2006 as a registered midwife. Over the years, I gained wide-ranging clinical experience across community settings, antenatal clinics, delivery suites, triage, and birth centres. This foundation in patient care, safety, and complex decision-making has shaped my approach to quality and compliance work.

Since 2022, I have worked as a Compliance Practitioner with Care4Quality, supporting a diverse range of health and social care providers with their CQC regulatory requirements. My role includes guiding services through the registration process, developing bespoke policies, conducting remote and on-site mock inspections, and providing ongoing compliance advice. I regularly support organisations across the sector, including domiciliary care, GP practices, care homes, dental services, online-only healthcare providers, and patient transport organisations.

I hold ISO Internal Auditor training and am a Chartered Quality Professional (PCQI) with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI). I bring a strong blend of clinical insight, regulatory knowledge, and quality improvement expertise to every project, helping services build safe, effective, and well-led systems that meet and exceed CQC expectations.
