About the consultant

I am a senior quality and transformation leader in the UK health and social care sector, with over 15 years’ experience driving measurable improvements in care quality, governance, and regulatory performance across residential, nursing, and dementia services.

I have extensive experience working across complex care environments, including holding Nominated Individual (NI) responsibilities, with accountability for regulatory compliance, governance, and the quality of care delivery across multiple services.

My work focuses on strengthening governance frameworks, embedding effective quality assurance systems, and translating regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable approaches that support both oversight and day-to-day care delivery.

I specialise in supporting care providers to improve CQC readiness, enhance inspection outcomes, and build systems that provide clear, reliable assurance of care quality. This includes the design of audit frameworks, governance structures, and the optimisation of digital care systems (such as PCS, Radar, and eMAR platforms) to ensure they deliver meaningful oversight — not just compliance.

As the first consultant accredited under the Care Consultant Accreditation Framework (C-CAF), I am committed to high professional standards, ethical practice, and delivering measurable outcomes for care providers.

My approach is centred on aligning People, Process, and Systems to create sustainable improvement. I am particularly focused on bridging the gap between regulatory expectations and operational delivery, and on advancing models of care that promote meaningful engagement, independence, and improved quality of life for people living in care environments.
