About the consultant

I moved to be a independent consultant as a means to make a difference across the Care Sector, I have seen first hand what good care looks like and what not so good care looks like, I know how it feels to be understaffed and under resourced as well as having a great team with you delivering amazing results for people.

​I have 25 years personal experience within the care sector with almost 15 of those years in a professional capacity. I have been and still am a unpaid carer for a family member and I strive to champion and advocate for quality professional care. Working in care I started out as a humble support worker supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals. Soon after I quickly undertook qualifications and moved into more senior roles including Home Manager, Training Manager, Recruitment Manager Including Registered Manager.

I have been on the forefront of delivering training for over 16 years delivering subjects such as First Aid, Leadership Skills and Military Skills.​
