My business name is VI The Care Consultant. Working as a sole trader enables me to share my experience and knowledge where I can make the most difference.

I have many years of experience working in social care. Over the years, I have acquired a range of qualifications to enhance my understanding and to enable me to perform at my best. My career has taken me from working as a carer to senior management roles, as well as teaching and consultancy.

I am most inspired when working directly with people. We need to understand people, to learn about their needs and what motivates them to get up in the morning. Whether people are working in care services or receiving care services, they have unique reasons for their position and will have needs and challenges specific to them. We work with multifaceted people. I have learned through experience that listening and learning about individual perspectives can help tailor solutions that are best for individuals and cost-effective for the business.

Throughout my career, people passionate about caring for others have inspired me to become a better person. I work hard to do the same for others. I am passionate about equality and diversity, and supporting people to live their best life possible.
